Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
As HondaELP suggested, Try to boot up in Safe mode by hitting the F8 key
every second while booting,
When the safe mode menu opens, click start in Safe mode.
If your machine will boot on up, then click Start - Run and type
control userpasswords2
and hit ok.
uncheck - users must enter a name and passwords to use this computer.
Then REBOOT.
