Thanks for the reply. Turns out there were a lot of OS files that accounted
for the discrepency. I was able to salvage about 2 GB of memory after
compressing the drive, but not much else. The laptop did come with Norton
Anti-Virus pre-installed, could that potentially take a lot of OS space?
