Something in your Startup configuration is causing regedit to be
launched. This is probably not a good sign, as it may be caused by
some virus or spyware related item.
Make certain your antivirus software is fully up to date, with the
virus definitions not more than a week old, and do a complete virus
scan of your hard drive.
Also do the same with your antispyware software. If you do not have
any antispyware software installed then try the free beta version of
Microsoft Antispyware from http://download.microsoft.com
Then get a "second opinion" by doing a free online scan of your
computer with one of the following free scanners:
Trend Micro http://housecall.trendmicro.com
Kaspersky Online Scanner http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner
Panda ActiveScan http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan
WindowSecurity.com TrojanScan http://windowssecurity.com/trojanscan
Webroot http://www.webroot.com/
Good luck
