I'm afraid I am quite clueless also when we don't know which key.
Can you elaborate on the message and what is meant by start-up? when you
login as regardless of user ID?. before login, on power up?
What is in you c:\documents and settings\all users\start
menu\programs\startup? are there any batch file or .reg files there that
does not belong there?
Can you go back to last known good configuration on startup (press f8 soon
after you see the bios info of the PC flash startup screen. Must be before
the windows start-up message.
