Re: Symantec KB-Doc Id:2003093015493306 shows up in XP Add an Remove P

Removing your Norton program using SymNRT:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039?Open&src=&docid=2004093015165236&nsf=tsgeninfo.nsf&view=docid&dtype=&prod=&ver=&osv=&osv_lvl=

If that does not help, backup your data, and then perform a clean
installation.

Happy An Safe New Year to all. I have Windows XP&SP2. I did have Norton
Antivirus 2005 installed on my Desktop an then uninstalled the program and
installed Avast Antivirus. I have tried to contact Symantec and recieve no
answer, which is one of the reasons I stopped using their products. Can
anyone tell me how to get rid of this. In Add an Remove Programs it will not
remove it. All it has is these two words USED & Rarely. Thanks for I really
get unhappy when I see Symantec anywhere on my PC after all the trouble I
had. Thanks to all, JJ
