Slipstreaming won't help you. It sounds like you have a Windows XP upgrade
CD which prompts for the ME media as proof of Windows ownership, and that
the ME CD is an OEM restore media and not a standard ME installation. There
isn't any way around that. You either need to get a full XP installation or
back up a cleanly installed system and use that image to reinstall. A
program like Acronis or Ghost would be best for this. BTW, why are you
repeatedly reformatting? That should almost never be necessary unless there
is a hard drive failure. It sounds like you need to look at your security
and maintenance practices.
