Glad the issue is now fixed. Note that the first command runs silently, and
does not display any confirmation message. BTW the commands are not included
in IEFIX utility.

THANK YOU...it appears what you suggest HAS fixed the IE issue....it was
proving such a bugbear.
I am unaware as to how to 'post messages' being a fair novice at this
microsoft help newsgroup thing...my apologies.
The two commands were run (however only the second got a response 'suceeded
'type message...I assume this is what was expected?)

I am also running the 'iefix' from your site; I thought this may have been
implied?
Hopefully that will cure the bug you have assisted with and fix another
issue (not previously mentioned)...being long delays in ie of non-responsive
time when my list of favs is selected.
