Hi Lethal,
>> I continue to get the message
Posting the error message earlier would have helped.
T set OE as the default mail client, run these two commands:
"%ProgramFiles%\Outlook Express\MSIMN.EXE" /REG
regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Outlook Express\msoe.dll"
Then, choose Outlook Express as the default email client in Internet Options
(Programs tab).

Thanks Ramesh,
I did as you suggest and received the message 'dllregisterserver in
sendmail.dll suceeded', however it did not solve the problem.
I continue to get the message 'either there is no default mail client or the
current mail client cannot fulfill the message request. PLease run Microsoft
outlook and set it as the default mail client' (in IE), and files still
cannot be transfered to other drives in Win explorer....
(by the way I use Outlook express).
Look forward to (your) further advices
regards
