Power management tabs missing!

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Ive been trying to configure standby on my shuttle Pc on which ive just
wiped the drive and installed XP pro. (specs below) Ive configured it
to use s3 standby mode in the power management section in the bios. Ive
gathered from websites that you leave all the rest of the power
management settings(in bios) disabled to avoid software conflicts! Can
anyone please confirm this is right?
Ive installed all the drivers but when i go into device manager and
into properties for both the mouse and the keyboard, the power
management tabs(that are present on my dell system) are missing! Why is
this?

I installed drivers from shuttles website for sb61g2 V4 but im not sure
what model it is as i received the pc with no manuals or anythin-there
seemed to be no problems with the installation! When i installed the
driver for the Nvidia Geforce 5500 i got a warning that it didnt have
microsofts signature. Could that be somethin to do with the missing
power management tabs? Im logged on as an administrator!
