Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess

This computer is running the XP Home Edition. There is no Group Policy Editor.
Would the Doug Knox "Security Console" Work? I am not familiar with that tool.
