Folks:

Let's all cool down a little bit, shall we?

There's no crime in suggesting a program inwhich you have a vested interest,
so long as you state that fact clearly. Others who have vested interests in
software have posted here, and by and large they always mention this fact so
the reader can take it into consideration.

Newspapers and magazines often review or comment on products or services
inwhich they or their parent company have an interest, and they disclose
this fact in their reviews.

It's not spam unless a poster blankets large numbers of newsgroups with
advertising.

We often discuss our opinions about individual programs here, for and
against. I'll go so far as to say that I use Super AdBlocker and find it
very effective, and I've had good experiences with their technical support.
