RE: Unable to load WinXP sp2

It isn't set to that, when windows starts up it shows a number of messages
and options upto the time the Windows xp screen shows. One message is about
booting with a cd (shows for about 3 seconds, then moves on). Its just an
option that is useful if Windows does not start properly.
When I try to use the system disk it indicates that
windows\system32\config\system is missing or corrupt. If I try to start in
safe mode, I eventually get setupreg.hiv in the section of the INF file is
corrupt or missing.
