I checked my Norton AntiVirus 2002 was upto date with the latest
definitions and run a "FULL" Scan. There were NO Viruses found.
I downloaded Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware ( Beta ) and ran a "DEEP"
Scan. There were NO Infections.
I have not downloaded HD Tune yet. How is the testing going?.
Do you still recommend me downloading ...

.... and using it to remove parasites.

Thanks for your help.
As I said previously I am using Windows XP Home Edition with Service
Pack 1 ( SP2 on Order from Microsoft ).
If I need to go down that route at some future time I will use your
suggestions.
