Try booting and selecting the Last Known Good Configuration option.
How to start your computer by using the Last Known Good Configuration feature in Windows XP http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;307852
If that works try using System Restore to restore the system to a point before the problem arose. http://bertk.mvps.org/
Then take note of the contents of this link: http://bertk.mvps.org/html/tips.html#AfterRestoring
Check whether your household contents insurance policy cover this risk?

Hope this helps.

OK, I'll go into more detail.
When i turn it on and let it run it says this:
Windows could not start because of an error in the software. Please rport this problem as: load need DLLs for Kernal
And when I press F8 to start my system Recovery it says this:
INF file textsetup.sif is corrupt or missing, status 30? Press any key to continue.
Thats all the detail I have, I am currently on an old computer that is crap
and I wouldm love to be able to fix my new one, I mean I only had the thing
for a little over a month before this happened.
