Try Start, Help and Support, Keep your Computer up-to-date with Windows Update.
Check your settings by right clicking the My Computer icon on the Desktop and selecting Properties, Automatic Updates.

I have windows update auto
now have 7 updates trying to install at shutdown just keeps a message installing 1 of 7 updates even after 24 hrs have to disconnect power to boot computer even tryed to install by downloading files but a baching up files stage it stops
any help
