Mike,
In addition, see:
Access is denied when opening the Shared Documents folder ?: http://www.winhelponline.com/sdperms.htm

my neighbor tried to run the network setup wizard and at some point decided it wasn't what she wanted to do. Now the "shared documents" folder is called "documents" and when she clicks on it (logged in with admin-capable account) she gets "access is denied"
have tried several technet articles concerning sharing over the network with little effect.
Running XP Home edition.
Thanks for any info
Mike
