XP Pro is different after format

Hi,

I just bought a new computer. It had nothing on it when i got it so i
installed Windows XP Proffesional.
It was perfect, It had the logon on before it loads the desk top and
when you press Ctrl + Alt + Delete it came up with a different window
to XP Home. It had like 6 different options. To go to Task Manager,
Shut Down, Log off etc.

Then i got a virus a couple of days later and it stuffed my computer so
i reformatted as i had nothing installed anyway and now the computer
looks like XP HOME. It doesnt have the logon. And when i press CTRL +
ALT + DELETE it just pops up Task Manager straight away.

I know its nothing important but without those things it make me feel
like im using XP Home again even though theres not much difference.

Does anyone know where the setting are to change the CTRL + ALT +
Delete thing?

Oh also when i first got it i installed the modem and it connected to
the internet fine. After i formatted it wont connect properlly and when
it does i get a crappy 26.3k speed not the usual 56+k.
This is probally i question i should ask my isp though.

Just seems wierd these features arnt there and everything is not
working that same as when i first installed XP Pro.

PS - The computer is a Compaq and i had to use the restore disk to
reformat it so it installed all the compaq junk with it. As this was
the only way cause i did not have a Windows Boot Disk.

Cheers,
Scott
