Error closing web page ??

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Sometimes when i shut an IE6 window nothing happens for about 5 seconds then
IE6 reports the following error message (bottom of this post !)

So my question is: a) is there something i can do to stop this happening, b)
is there a setting i can change in XP to give it longer to shut before
reporting an error (if that is why it's doing it !). This only happens maybe
1 in 30 or so times i try to close a webpage.

(Sorry about the small text, i just copied and pasted the error !)
