RELOADING XP

my system has locked up, i can't get windows to load in any mode. i tried to
run the restore option at boot-up, no luck. i put in the xp disk and booted
from it, after it copied all the files to begin setup, it locks up at "setup
is starting windows" and just sits there. i don't have a floppy drive or any
other drives except the cd roms. i have 2 of those. it seems to stop or lock
up every time when i get to the multi(0) disk (0) rdisk(0)partitiion
(1)\windows\system32\drivers\mup.sys line it locks there and won't go any
further. anyone help????? PLEASE!!!!!!! ITS AN EMERGENCY!!!!!
