Re: How do I transfereverything from old to new laptop HD

Thanks a lot ANNA... I will follow all your indications to make an image of
the new HD once I finished installing all the programs.... since I needed the
laptop urgently and didnt know how fast I was gonna be able to clone the old
drive I started installing everything....

My remaining Issue is what I wrote in the first post about not being able to
transfer the settings that I saved using the Win XP "FILE AND SETTINGS FAST
TRANSFER WIZARD" I have read many posts about the files being saved in a
folder located in a different drive or partition...

I have it saved in the old HD, in both partitions of the new HD and even in
a CD.... but I cant make the wizard recognize it from any of those
locations...

Do you, Phillip or bxf, know anything about that ???
