Switching User, shuts down windows.

Lately when I switch user on my XP home machine, this happens.
It opens the new user screen and everything looks normal then after a few
seconds it decides to log off and shut down without asking anything.
When restarting and choosing any user it works OK???
Any idea why this is happening?
