Explorer.exe crashes randomly

Im currently having a problem with xp concering explorer.exe crashing
randomly. i once though it was my avi files, but now since i fixed the avi
problem, the explorer.exe error never went away. According to my Event
Viewer, it has something to do with an application error. The description
says, Fault bucket 127106076. Thanks for any help you can offer.
