No thanks,
I am going to try removing the USB II PCI card and/ or Sound Blaster card
moving to another PCI slot and see what happens.
For the most part the sound card in functioning OK, with occassional drop
outs. This problem became an issue when all of the Creative Programs
disappeared from All Programs, even though all of the Sound Blaster files
were present.
If XP Home can sort out the problem by rebooting with a different selection
of PCI slots, that is fine. Otherwise, the system runs well enough.
Thank you,
Arne
