Re: Major problems with startup...

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I don't think your problem is simple. You're likely loaded with spyware
and/or viruses. Disconnect your computer from the internet. Find someone
who can download an antivirus program, Spybot Search and Destroy,
HijackThis, AdAware, and Spyware Blaster for a start. Install these
programs on your computer. Clean your temp files, IE cache and uninstall
unused programs. Restart your computer in SAFE MODE and run all these
programs you downloaded and installed. In fact, run them a couple of times.
When all is clean, restart normally, connect to the internet, download the
latest updates for these programs, and run them again. Restart your
computer in SAFE MODE and then run all these programs again.

When clean, regularly use an anti-virus program and a firewall. Let us
know.
