have registered using wrong email address

hello, i have a windows xp home and when signing up to a mcafee security
product i used a different email address to one in my outlook express. now
that it has expired i am being told to collect new password from my email. i
have never managed to locate this email since setting it up. is there a way
around this dilema? would be very grateful for any help.
