Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

That key already exists, with a value of:
{98de59a0-d175-11cd-a7bd-00006b827d94}

Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Mich

Start > Run and type in without the quotes "regedit". Navigate to:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.doc]

and click on "+". You'll see a list of subkeys. Click on the key above and
then Edit > New > Click and write the name "PersistentHandler". When
created, clik con this new key and you'll see a vale named "(default)".
Right click on it > Modify and literally write:

{5e941d80-bf96-11cd-b579-08002b30bfeb}

Reboot WIndows. IMPORTANT NOTE. if there is yet a subkey named
"PersistenHandler" when you spread the main key, *do not change it*. In this
case, what I have said will not help you.
