Updating system BIOS

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

I recently wiped my hard drive to then reinstall XP afterwards. Along with
reinstalling XP, I also need to install the correct BIOS config. for my
machine, which I have. The problem is, how?

I boot the machine up in DOS, I try to find the file that needs to then be
executed, which is on my hard drive, but DOS won't recognise the C: command.
Therefore, I can't access my hard drive or the file that will in turn update
my BIOS setting.

I'm stuck. Please, please advise.
