Hello Steve
Zone Alarm is generally speaking a good choice for firewall and anti-virus
protection. My only criticism of it would be that sometimes it is a little
reluctant to exit when you want to shut down Windows XP and that can result
in various messages appearing on the screen, which need to be canceled
before XP fully shuts down. This doesn't effect all machines and can be
overcome by manually shutting ZA down before ending your Windows session,
but some people do find that irritating. NAV on the other hand can cause a
whole host of problems, most are imperceptible and effect only the
occasional user, but they can be very annoying and difficult to sort out if
you are affected.
