Hi
You need to install support for japanese.
here is how you do this.
open control panel
open regional and languages options.
click on the languages tab
check both the boxes in supplemental language support.
you will be prompted for the installation media.
when the installation is complete. windows will reboot and now you will get
japanese fonts installed on your computer.
