Re: memory space

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

I just read another message with my same issue - thought by adding more
memory I would get more space - guess not! When I run the Disk Defrag, it
says I have"
Capicity Drive C: 13.97GB FREE: 171MB FREE %: 1%
Capitcity Drive D: 5.58GB FREE: 52.80GB FREE %: 95%

When I log in it states that I am running out of space on Drive C, to delete
some programs or apps that I am not using. Nervious on deleting programs
since I did that before (just deleting by the "title" of the program) and
then found soem were used by other programs. Is there a safe way to know
what to get rid of? I also tried to move files from C to D, thought I did
but the readings all stayed the same.

Am I just too much of a newby to be touching a pc? be nice now ... (smile)
