I am a technologically challenged person but I finally "fixed" my issue after
2 weeks of searching, begging posting etc. I just started looking at each
font. On one particular one, I noticed that there was a duplicate file with
one exception...One of the duplicates had a bit more of a description in it's
title. I deleted the less descriptive of the two. I had resolved to repair
install XP this weekend so what the heck. I rebooted and everything was back
to normal. That is the ONLY thing I did. I don't know if that had anything to
do with the fix but it is too coincidental to ignore. Perhaps you can pose a
question related to corrupt fonts and if they could have an affect on the
ability to load the rest of them. DOn't give up and good luck!
