Re: Help with SP 2

After the crash I spent 6 hours on the phone with Microsoft trying to repair
the problem. They could not get it to work correctly. It was Microsoft
that said the only thing left I could do was to reformat and start over.

I agree that a complete reformat is the last resort but when Microsoft could
not figure it out, what else could I do?

I agree with you that there are major improvements over SP1. But If it
crashes every time I try to install it what good is SP2? By the way 99% of
my programs are Microsoft Programs.

Anyway, You did say you had a list of checks to do before updating. I
really hate to post my correct e-mail address because of the amount of spam
I receive when doing so. Is there a way I can contact you off the newsgroup
so I can give you my address?
