Media Player screen is black in projected image

..mpeg files won't play on a projector (Mitsubishi LVP-S250U) hooked up to my
laptop (Windows XP Professional). Everything else plays through the
projector but this. The screen in the projected media player image is black,
but the one on the laptop plays like it should. The same thing happened when
we used Real 1 as the video player, so I think it's an operating system
thing. I don't think the problem is the device driver, but I'm not sure. I
found one thing in media player's help file which said that the video won't
play if the primary monitor's screen is maximized. However, that did not
make any difference (still didn't play when not maximized).

Thanks!
