Is it possible to copy a program (ie word) from an old partition to a new one
before deleting the partition?
You could copy it (meaning most of its files), but it won't work
afterwards. To move an application, uninstall it from its current
location, and then reinstalled, using the original installation media,
to the new location.

Re: Boot from USB key and Windows PE ... You can use winrar or any other archiver that supports ntfs file security.... I personally would use winhex and copy the block manually (logical sector 0, ...
