As Galen mentioned this is a XP group. That said, your story indicates a
hardware failure or driver problem. Have you recently changed any hardware
particularly ram? Have you recently updated any drivers? A good place to
start testing is www.memtest.org Download and run memtest86+ and test the
ram.
