Okay firstly I am no expert on computers...
I have had a similar problem for some time now. Mine however tended to
be irregular and infrequent with error reports showing no SVChost.exe
version or mod ID. which I assumed was down to a virus of some kind. No
virus scanner on earth could find a virus so I started looking at
programs I recently installed. Then I looked at recent upgrades.
I think that this error you are experiencing is due to a problem some
versions of NAV have with MSN messenger. Simply use windows messenger
or something else. alternatively use a different anti virus.
This seems to have worked on my system, however Norton firewall keeps
asking for permission for Generic host process over and over again.
each time it randomly chooses a different port to communicate through,
I still cannot sort it and have resorted to totally blocking all
internet access for it.
Any help would be appreciated.
