hi i need some help,

i reverted back my computer, but the updates are alreayd ready to be update,
but my siblings did not know anything about this and they updated it again.
is there anyway i can remove the "ready to install" feature that is always
appearing on the bottom right of ya taskbar? besides that, howw do i restore
the files mentioned by "leighcb@xxxxxxxxx" ? i have the windows cd..how do i
go about?can someone teach me? by the way, does microsoft know that many
people are facing this problem?
