yahoo messanger?2

I just recently posted the question about my computer running slow after i
downloaded yahoo messanger. After doing this, I was required to login with
my netpassport, which I haven't been doing lately. Suddenly, my computer has
since ran at normal speed and I still have yahoo messanger! Does it make a
difference whether or not you have logged in? If you visit websites that
dont require a login netpassport are you at a different status than when you
do log in? It seems that way. Please explain!
