Windows Explorer stops responding

Hello,

On my Windows XP SP2 up-to-date computer Windows Explorer stops
responding (and no taskbar appears) when i quit from both DirectX and
OpenGL games. Latest video, chipset, and so on drivers installed.

Any ideas?
