Hi, Im using XP Home edition and have had problems with my operating system. So I went and tried to reformat my hard drive but I could not get it to
reformat. Do i have to go out to the C prompt to format ? Any help is greatly
appreciated.

Re: uninstall winXP ... you can't uninstall an operating system....Windows 98 or Me, and took the option to save the previous ... and her only choice is to reformat.... and install whatever operating system you want cleanly. ... (microsoft.public.windowsxp.general)
