Sounds like what actually happened is they renamed the "frys store" user to
"wendys". This would change the logon name but not the name on the folder in
"Documents and Settings". However, as long as that user is a in the
Administrators it ought to be able to install SP2. You should also be able to
install SP2 from the Administrator logon. If you can't, it could be a
different problem entirely. Try installing from the Administrator account and
see if it works. If it fails, you should get some sort of error dialog. Send
that information along and we'll see if we can help.

On a side note, I would encourage your friend in the strongest possible
terms to allow the system to be wiped clean and reloaded from scratch. The
fact that it was so badly infested (not to mention that it was a demo system)
indicates it was not properly maintained and even with SP2 installed, is
likely to have problems. Just backup any documents to a floppy or flash drive
then go for it. I swear she'll be happier with a clean install.
