Michaeal, I am having a very similar problem. I just installed sp2 and
everything was fine. I then ran a virus scan and removed a couple of
viruses. After running the scan nothing works except IE. I can't even look
at my hard drive, I get the DrWatson error that you described.
Dan, I looked and my Task Manager and the only thing that is using any cpu
power is the "System Idle Process" Any more suggestions?
