How to disable those ms yellow box popups

Are those things a conspiracy to lessen the productivity of those of us with
ADD? I can't believe that ms would so firmly enmesh this feature that it
cannot be disabled. There are aided optional features for the visual or
hearing impaired. Why is there a mandatory obstacle for ADD?

Anywhere you rest the cursor another one pops up, causing you to look away
from what you are doing and pay attention to it. Its not even as if its
something urgent-all it does it identify what is already identified (cursor
rests on the distinctive spider-on-card logo of spider solitaire, sittin in
the taskbar. Up pops the yellow box "spider"), or NAG! Even as I write
this, I inadvertantly left the cursor in this box. "Enter message" it nags,
even as I am typing and entering the message! It obscures a good chunk of
the screen in wmp, filling it with information that I didn't ask for. This
has gotten so distracting that I have 2 cds I am supposed to make, but
haven't. If there is no way to kill the beast I am going to have to look for
another media player. Yet another waste of time!

So far no one anywhere, on any website, has ventured a solution. The
closest I've seen has been a reg fix to disable tips balloons. I have
unchecked the "show popup folder descriptions" & applied it to all folders,
but this doesn't work. I tried Dave's reg fix, but that doesn't work.
