Spyware, virus

A friend of mine had problems with his IE6, when logging in to his Hotmail
nothing happend. So I installed Ad-aware and that fixed the problem. No after
6 months the same issue comes up, so I helped him to update and to fully run
the software for all his partions, Found several "spyware" witch we removed
but the problem is still there..

It works fine with other web-readers
