OK now I have tried that twice, because the first time I was away from the
computer when it finished and was not sure if it did finish or just stopped.
And no luck there either. Also if anyone else is following along you can not
run
SFC /SCANNOW in safe mode or with any account other than an administrator.
Any other helpful tips? Unfortunately I feel a reload of windows coming on. I
can do everything fine, but I am very afraid that this is just the tip of the
iceberg of future strange going ons inside my pc.
