Hi,
I have decided that i need to format my PC, but unfortunately, I cannot find
the Windowx XP Home CD that came with my computer. My official license is
still stuck to my case, so i do have a full version, etc.
I was wondering that if i were to borrow a CD off a colleague of Win XP
Home, could i use that to do a full reinstall if i use my Serial Code? The
other slight problem is that the version he has is Windows XP Home Upgrade
Edition, where i have the full version install. I do not have any previous
versions of Windows, so i'm not sure if i can use that version, as it may ask
for a CD. However, would it search my PC at the start and see i already have
full version?
Thanks to anyone that could give any advice. Cheers!!
