I recently installed support for Korean language in winxp for my wife, and
now when I start the computer and go to certain programs I see Korean text
when there shouldn't be any at all. It may only be a few letters, but why
is this happening? Its like it's trying to default to Korean text when the
computer starts up for some reason. I set this up under her account but
it's happening under my account too if this helps at all. Also, a lot of
times when I open IE6 or OE it defaults to Korean encoding even though I
don't have auto select picked. Also whenever I look at files or install
programs the path has C: and then a capital W with a horizontal line through
it, what is that all about? Thanks in advance for any help. Kevin
