Can somebody please advise how to fix this problem?
I am so frustrated that I would be pulling my hair out by now
- if I had any left :-)

Access Denied after reinstalling XP Home SP2.

I need to access the security tab on an Iomega firewire 120 GB
external drive to regain ownership to my documents folder which, due
to its size, I store on this drive.

My C drive went down the tubes. I moved my D drive to become my new C
drive. What was my external G drive is now my D drive. I cannot get
to the security tab to claim back ownership of my documents except in
safe mode. If I boot in safe mode windows is not aware that it has an
external drive. With XP Home SP2 is there any other way to access the
security tab without booting into safe mode? Or is there anyway I can
have access to an external drive whilst in safe mode?
