But if uninstalling SP2 worked, then SP2 must have been the problem. Ok,
so you can muck about with the Firewall ( if you can call it that) and
then things may work. But even MS have put a list up of software that do
not work correctly with SP2.
You just can not come to terms that SP2 could be at fault
