I have hundreds of computers on my network that we did not realized where not
imaged correctly because it does not notify the users that software is not
being upgrade during boot up from group policy. we didnt realized this
because we werent implementing group policy back then. now, we have that
problem with all the pcs on our network, we dont have any problems on our new
images that carry sp2 but we do have that problem with sp1 pc's. we are not
rolling out sp2 through group policy yet while we wait a corporate decision
in austrailia. i am wondering if there is registry hack or ms patch i can use
that would allow me fix this issue, im having multiple problems because users
get unpatience and reboot or shot down the computers because they do not
realize that software is being updated or they forget even thought they have
been previously notify.
